In 2012 kwamen 13 activisten bijeen in Washington DC om zich te beraden op mogelijkheden om veranderingen in de katholieke kerk te bevorderen. Visie van Gelovigen zette het boek LOVE IN ACTION van Dick Taylor op internet.. Dit leidde aanvankelijk enige jaren tot actie op een doodlopend spoor. Toen in 2018 de evangelische boodschap  om te zorgen voor elkaar en in het bijzonder voor de armen voorop werd gesteld, kreeg Visie van Gelovigen via internet steun van een vijftal activisten. Ze gaven Ed Schreurs  de vrije hand om een ontmoetingsplaats voor helpers in te richten. Zo is Atrium2025 tot stand gekomen met steun van  

Miriam Duignan uit het VK, Virginia Saldanha uit India,  Paul Hwang uit Korea, Peter Mbuchi Methu uit Kenia en Deborah Rose uit de VS.

In 2012, 13 activists gathered in Washington DC to discuss ways to promote change in the Catholic Church. Visie van Gelovigen (Vision of Believers) published Dick Taylor's book LOVE IN ACTION on the internet. Initially, this led to several years of action on a dead-end track. Then, in 2018, when the evangelical message of caring for one another, and especially for the poor, was put at the forefront, Vision of Believers received support from five activists via the internet. They gave Ed Schreurs free rein to set up a meeting place for helpers. This is how Atrium2025 came into being with the support of Miriam Duignan from the UK, Virginia Saldanha from India, Paul Hwang from Korea, Peter Mbuchi Methu from Kenya and Deborah Rose from the US.
